Meet The Dietitian/Nutritionist:
Carol Sheffield Lapin is a Registered Dietitian and Exercise Specialist. She has a Masters degree in nutrition and food sciences, in addition to an undergraduate degree in physical education from The University of Texas at Austin.
Carol has been a practicing R.D. since 1990. She spent 10 years as the staff Dietitian for The Houston Astros Baseball Club and was an Adjunct Professor in Nutrition and Exercise at Texas Woman's University in the Houston Medical Center. Ms. Lapin lends her expertise to teachers and students in school districts in the Houston and surrounding area and is a nutrition consultant for several physicians in the Memorial Hermann Medical Center.
During your visit with Carol, you will have the opportunity to join her in her kitchen so that you may see, smell, and taste all of the foods she will be recommending for you during the program.
