Carol Sheffield Lapin is a Registered Dietitian and a certified Wellness Coach as well as a certified Behavior Change Specialist. Carol has a Master degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences, in addition to an undergraduate degree in Physical Education from The University of Texas. She is also a former All-America track athlete who attended the University of Texas in Austin on a track scholarship.
Carol has been a practicing R.D.N. since 1990. She spent 10 years as the staff Dietitian for The Houston Astros Baseball Club and was an Adjunct Professor in Nutrition and Exercise at Texas Woman’s University in the Medical Center.
Mrs. Lapin provides presentations and nutrition classes for corporate clients, and is the Dietitian/Wellness Coach for KBR in Houston. She is past Chair for the Cardiovascular Wellness, and Sports Nutrition practice group (SCAN) for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Mrs. Lapin is trusted to give good nutrition advice to patients referred to her by doctors in a number of specialties such as: cardiology, type 2 diabetes, cancer, gastroenterology, sports medicine, weight loss, and adolescent nutrition.
